Attention Wal Mart Shoppers! 08/26/2009
![]() by Korah Kay Save Money. Live Better. Sound familiar? It should, this is Wal Mart's motto, but let's take a look at that. Save money, maybe, but living better, that's the debatable part. I filled a prescription at Wal Mart recently that was supposed to contain 30 pills, but when counted only contained 20 pills. Now I can understand miscounting one or possibly even two pills, but 10 pills short! Come now, surely the good people at Wal Mart can count better than that. Guess they ran out of fingers and toes. We aren't talking El Rushbo needin a fix here, people, we're talking about my cholesterol medication! When I called to complain, I naturally got a person who could barely carry on a conversation and he turned out to be a pharmacy technician, and was therefore allowed to fill prescriptions! When I asked if a pharmacist checked the technicians work, I was told yes. Speaking to a pharmacist she reiterated this, but went on to say that at times they were extremely BUSY and sometimes could only GLANCE at the prescriptions! So you have a pharmacist and a technician that apparently can't count, not to mention that can't be certain if the right medicine was dispensed, you can see where this might be detrimental to your health at some point on down the line! As they say SHOPPER BEWARE! Meanwhile, I think I will be changing pharmacies... CommentsLeave a Reply |
