It is hardly surprising to me that the insurance industry is getting in all the sucker punches they can as health care reform looms in the future. This time around, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas denied coverage for a 10-day-old, calling his congenital heart defect a preexisting condition. This one has pulled far ahead of the pack for absolute fucking douche move of 2010. If stories like this do not manage to convince you the health care system in this country needs to be reformed in any manner, then you are probably the kind of douche that could justify the actions of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas...
